Experts of Component 1 of EU Project Pravo-Justice has been contributing to the reform of public prosecutors’ offices in Ukraine in accordance with best European standards by increasing the efficiency of their work and bringing the perpetrators to justice for committing international crimes. The latter includes a set of measures aimed at investigating, prosecuting and adjudicating in respect of those guilty of international crimes, as well as improving the institutional capacities of the Project’s key beneficiaries in the field of criminal justice: prosecutors, lawyers, and judges.

Activity areas:

• Support of the public prosecutors’ offices in improving procedures for the selection of staff, their professional growth, and development of self-government.
• Support of the public prosecutors’ offices in the investigation of international crimes committed in Ukraine and bringing the guilty to justice.
• Enhancing the capacities of prosecutors, judges, and lawyers in international humanitarian and criminal law at all stages of the criminal process in cases of international crimes.
